Preventative Vaccinations & Immunisation

Preventative care is the cornerstone of lifelong health. At the Harley Street Physicians Women’s Health Centre, we offer a comprehensive range of vaccinations tailored to the specific needs of women—from seasonal protection to immunisations required during pregnancy and later life.

HPV Protection (Gardasil 9)

While the school-based programme is excellent, many adult women missed the opportunity for the latest Gardasil 9vaccine, which protects against nine strains of the Human Papillomavirus. We provide this vaccine to adult women to significantly reduce the risk of cervical abnormalities and certain cancers.

Pre-Conception & Pregnancy Vaccinations

Insuring your immunity is up to date is a vital part of pregnancy planning. We offer:

  • Rubella Immunity Testing: To ensure you are protected before becoming pregnant.

  • Pregnancy-Safe Vaccines: Including Pertussis and the seasonal Influenza vaccine, administered by clinicians who understand the nuances of prenatal care.

Shingles & Pneumococcal Vaccines

For our mature patients, we offer advanced protection against Shingles (Shingrix) and pneumonia, helping to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle well into the future.

Why Choose Our Vaccination Service?

  • Clinical Integrity: We only use the highest-grade vaccines, stored and administered under strict cold-chain protocols.

  • Comprehensive Records: We provide you with a full digital and physical record of your immunisations for your personal medical history.

  • Combined Appointments: Vaccinations can often be administered during a Well Woman Check or a Contraception Consultation for your convenience.

  • Consultative Care: If you are unsure of your vaccination history, we can perform Antibody Titer Blood Tests to check your current immunity levels before proceeding.
